Insurance policy/additional services It is not mandatory to obtain an insurance or sign other agreements to receive the credit.
Changes of interest and costs arvato can choose to adjust the interest up or down at any change of the general interest levels, or following changes to framework agreement, se part 2 bullet 3. Change of interest rate and fees or other credit costs are taken into practice 6 weeks after arvato har sent written notice, see Finansavtalelovens § 50
Costs of late or missing payment Interest on overdue payment will occur in accordance with Norwegian law. For credit with money rate, money rate will be used instead of penalty interest. Upon reminder and debt collection fees will occur in accordance with Norwegian law, at 1/10 debt collection rate.
If a collection agency overtakes the claim, additional costs may occur, as debt colelction fees, see inkassoforskriften.
Potential forceful recovery can result in further fees and decrease the chances of receiving further credit.

Other important legal aspects

Rights of regret You have the right to regret the credit agreement within 14 days. No costs will apply other than the interest for the time that the credit has been used.
Payback before due date You can pay back all or parts of the credit on any time without extra costs other than what has already been accumulated.
Information search in database Credit assessment is done by checking arvato’s internal systems, and/or external credit assessment agency. If assessment is done via external agency you will be informed about what agency is used, and what credit information has been delivered. This applies regardless of if credit has been approved or not.
Right to see credit agreement You have upon request and without charge the right to have an example of the credit agreement.
