I. AfterPay - Direct Debit Payments
You want to pay easily and comfortably by direct debit? AfterPay (Arvato Payment Solutions GmbH, Gütersloher Str. 123, DE-33415
Verl). gladly offers you this service with our partnering merchant. To be able to pay with AfterPay you have to be at
least 18 years old.
What does that mean for you?
- You receive the goods and we withdraw the open amount from your account
- You do not have to worry about the transfer
- In case of a return AfterPay refunds you immediately the returned amount
If you choose to pay by using AfterPay direct debit, AfterPay takes over the whole processing of your purchase by AfterPay
direct debit. We already inform you here that we transfer the claim arising from your purchase to AfterPay. Therefore,
you will receive payment details from AfterPay for your purchases by e-mail and the collection will be made to an account
1. SEPA mandate
The purchase amount is due immediately. By using AfterPay direct debit you granted AfterPay a SEPA direct debit mandate.
According to the information provided in the mandate, AfterPay withdraws the amount from your bank account. By issuing
the mandate you also instruct your bank to redeem the direct debit. You also confirm to us and AfterPay that you are
authorized a withdraw on the specified account. Please ensure sufficient funds on the specified account. You can claim
a chargeback of the amount withdrawn from your bank account within eight weeks from the collection date("Rüchlastschrift").
However, we would like to point out to you that also in case of a chargeback the claim is still due and must be compensated
The purchase by direct debit, we offer you along with AfterPay free of charge.
If your account does not have sufficient funds, has been extinguished or you object to the collection without justification,
a return debit note will be issued. This return debit is associated with a considerable effort for us and our partner.
You undertake to assume the costs incurred and authorize our partner to make a new submission of the direct debit.
Should the new collection fail, all claims are immediately due for payment. Furthermore, we or our partner are entitled to
charge you the default interest in the statutory amount, for the second and each further reminder a reminder fee in the
amount of EUR 2.50, whereby the proof is permitted that us or our partner has suffered a significantly lower damage.
We or our partner reserve the right to prove that the processing of the respective reminder or handover to a collection
agency has caused greater damage. In case of an overdue payment, you undertake to reimburse all costs and expenses. The
costs of debt recovery include, without prejudice to a procedural cost compensation, also all out of court costs of a
licensed collection agency and a lawyer.
In the case of returns or a withdrawal from the purchase contract, we ask you not to withdraw the direct debit mandate in
order to avoid unnecessary costs. You will be immediately credited the appropriate amount.
Complaints regarding the processing of payments can be made in written form by mail under the subject "Beschwerden" to Arvato
Payment Solutions GmbH, Gütersloher Str. 123, D-33415 Verl.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the arbitration board of the Deutsche Bundesbank. The complaint is to be

The complaint shall be made in written form, including a brief summary of the facts and accompanied by the documents necessary
for the complaint to be processes. For more details, please refer to the complaint regulations published on the website

III. Personal data
The protection of your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. AfterPay processes personal data in order to confirm your
identity, assess on which payment option to offer you, administrate the customer relationship, to prevent abuse or misuse
of AfterPay, to conduct customer and risk analysis and risk management, for the prevention of money laundering, and to
comply with general legal requirements. Personal data is information that can be directly or indirectly linked to you.
Below are examples of personal data that AfterPay may process:
- Contact information – name, address, date of birth, Social security number. email address, telephone number, etc.
- Payment information – invoice information, bank account number etc.
- Financial information – your income, potential credit commitments, negative payment history
- Information on goods/services – details about the items you purchase
- Historical information – your purchase, payment and credit acceptance history
We reuse the data you previously provided to us and we may share your information with credit reference agencies and providers
of identity lookups and anti-money laundering screening companies for the purpose of assessing your credit score and
risk assessment upon applying for one of our payment methods, and for confirming your identity and address information.
If you have used AfterPay´s services previously, there might be information stored about you, e.g. for customer administration,
documentation requirements or similar approved purposes. Where available AfterPay will use such information to confirm
your identity and simplify your use of AfterPay. AfterPay may use electronic communication (through for example text
messages and e-mail) in contacts with you. You are entitled to request access to data, edit incorrect data relating to
you or inform us that you no longer wish to have your personal data stored. The request shall be sent to

other companies within the Arvato Financial Solutions group. AfterPay is the data controller for the processing of your
