The AfterPay Consumer Terms & Conditions contain Terms & Conditions for all AfterPay Payment Options. The contracting party is AfterPay, with the company name Arvato Finance A/S, Østbanegade 55, 2. Tv., 2100 København Ø.
You must be at least 18 to apply for an AfterPay Invoice payment Option. It is a prerequisite that you have a Danish social security number and you must have an address listed in the national register and it cannot be a PO Box.
In connection with an application for credit, AfterPay performs a credit assessment whereby AfterPay assesses whether the consumer has the economic capability to fulfill the payment obligation. In case of breach of the agreement, you have also given your consent to the transfer of your information to Gothia A/S for collection of the debt. AfterPay may transfer and/or pledge the debt.
Unfortunately, there are people who abuse the right to buy on credit and have no intention of paying for the goods they receive. A credit check reveals your creditworthiness and any recorded late payment notices.
You may be charged with an invoicing fee from the webshop, but it will appear on their website, if that is the case.
If you do not pay on time according to the invoice, you will receive a reminder and be charged a reminder fee of DKK 100,- per each reminder. Though no more than 3 reminder fees in total.
In addition to this, there will be accrual of interest according to Danish Law, when the claim is submitted to debt collection processes.
AfterPay will send invoices and information to you by e-mail to the address you submitted when you selected AfterPay. All information is also available on MyAfterPay, upon login with Nem-ID or that respective e-mail address. It is your responsibility, to ensure that you have a valid e-mail address so AfterPay can communicate with you at all times. AfterPay always reserves the right to send information to your address from the National Registry.
AfterPay allows you the option of splitting up your payment. You are free to choose the sum you want to pay each month, with the reservation of a minimum amount which depends on the size of your balance. The agreement is based on a minimum monthly payment. This payment is referred to as the “minimum payment”. You are always allowed to pay more than that or pay off the balance outstanding in full at any time and at no extra charge.
Based on the total amount of your purchase, you can choose to divide your payment into 3, 6, 12, 24 or 36 monthly instalments. You can – at any time and at no extra charge – choose to terminate your instalment agreement by settling your outstanding balance in full.
You must be at least 18 to apply for an AfterPay Part Payment option. For purchases above of DKK 200 you have the option to choose either AfterPay Flex Payment or AfterPay Fixed Instalments.
It is a prerequisite that you have a Danish social security number and you must have an address listed in the national register and it cannot be a PO Box.
Applications for credit within AfterPay’s part payment options may be made either via the (1) the Merchants digital touch points or via (2) MyAfterPay.com.

The entire debt consists of the unpaid balance in addition to accrued interests, any costs and duties.
